Cinza - Say It

Bloco especial da Rocinha, 'Ai Que Vergonha'.

I was invited to follow and film this small 'bloco' from the favela Rocinha in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil during their first ever parade, which took place on the beach of São Conrado. This is one of the short videos I put together to help them gather support for the next year. Unlike most other Carnaval blocos, they are working with universal themes such as discrimination and preconception. Next years theme will be water.
